Making Time To Build Your Website
I am a web designer and marketing consultant by trade. Lately I have been slowly working on my own website businessmarketingguru.com and I came to realize something that I have always heard from others. I cannot find the time to work on my own projects!! I started making this site about two months ago and if I would have just given 20 minutes a day to it, the site would be alive with great articles and regular visitors. But, I find it's REALLY hard to do. This is a classic example of working IN my business and not ON my business. You must work ON your business EVERYDAY because in the long run your business will flourish and grow. Sure working IN your business gets money in your pocket now but think about the long run. I hate to think what my site would have been like by working ON it just 20 minutes a day. Those 20 minutes would have added up to hours upon hours of great results for my site... instead I have a good looking site with hardly any content and even less users. LEARN FROM MY LAZY MISTAKE and learn from the mistakes of other failing businesses. Take the time to work ON your business, even if it's just a few minutes and your efforts will be multiplied greatly in the future.
